March 13, 2017 at Musical Offering Cafe Bistro in Berkeley.
BERC China Focus will be holding a coffee chat on March 13th with Dr. Jingjing Zhang, who is currently a postdoctoral scholar at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory – China Energy Group. Dr. Zhang received her Ph.D. in energy policy from the Department of Environmental and Energy Systems Studies at Lund University. Her Ph.D. thesis applied interdisciplinary approaches to study how innovative technologies (e.g., passive houses, zero-energy buildings) were developed and diffused, and the structural factors that influence innovation and sustainability transitions. Her current work for the China Energy Group involves topics of urban sustainability transition and future low-emission pathways, as well as long-term energy-water nexus assessment and policy work.
