Come show your support and join us for a showcase of original songs from participants of the Girls Rock After School Program (GRASP)!
GRASP is a 10-week program for girls 8-18 years old offered by Bay Area Girls Rock Camp.
The showcase will feature original songs performed by five new bands formed at the start of the program as well as a performance from a local band and fun dance tunes!
*Doors at 2:00 p.m. and bands at 3:00 p.m.
* $5-$15 sliding scale with no one turned away for lack of funds.
* Youth ages eighteen and under get in free.
*All proceeds go towards Bay Area Girls Rock Camp’s Youth programs.
Bay Area Girls Rock Camp was founded in 2008 and is a nonprofit organization that empowers girls through music, promoting an environment that fosters self-confidence, creativity and teamwork. BAGRC challenges gender stereotypes, encourages collaboration and tolerance among peers, and provides a comfortable space for people of all backgrounds to express themselves. Through music lessons, workshops, group activities and performance, girls acquire skills that help guide them throughout their lives.
