Joaquin Miller Park is at the center of our effort to publish “Insects of the San Francisco Bay Area.” We, first, are finishing this portion of the guide and using it as a model to write the rest. Rains have kept us from getting into the park and seeing what’s there. The rain is good because the park will likely have blooms like none other seen in recent years. Still! It would be great to add new images to the park guide’s photographic database. It’s hard to predict if the rain and clouds will let up. Just be ready! (P.S. This date is subject to change from inclement weather!). Meet at the Ranger Station, 3594 Sanborn Drive, Oakland, CA.
