Melissa Miller’s Lack is a witty critique of the Minimalist movement that explores the significance and acceptance of art, artists and mediums. Recreating iconic works from renowned minimalist artists with materials from the world’s largest furniture chain, Miller exercises ones freedom to question and play with concepts within modern art.
In Brian Perrin’s Unstrung, multi-dimensional pieces give familiar geometry a redesigned platform. Perrin’s intricate manipulation of shapes and shadows are executed using a variety of mediums and techniques. From crocheted monofilament to rusted copper, the details, patterns and methods of construction, perplex and fascinate.
