Previous participants have been hired to perform in southern Oregon in our chamber operas, symphony concerts and other events.
The 1st Place Winner will be awarded $4,000 and be required to perform in a recital (up to 50 minutes) in Ashland during the 2016-2017 Season. All travel arrangements and expenses to and from Medford are included. Only singers aged 20 to 35 as of December, 2016 are allowed to enter the competition.
Some of the previous winners include the notable young artists Julie Adams, soprano, AJ Glueckert, tenor, Marina Harris, soprano, Renée Rapier, mezzo-soprano, Jamez McCorkle, baritone, Nicholas Brownlee, bass-baritone, Adam Lau, bass, Jennifer Cherest, soprano and Lindsay Ohse, soprano.
