San Francisco based Andy Kershaw is label manager of cutting edge record label 3AM Devices. Originally from New England, Andy relocated to the Bay Area in 2008 and initially linked up with the award winning “As You Like It” organization before branching out and co-founding 3AM Devices. His veteran status as a Boston area DJ helped when his first area DJ gig as an SF resident immediately landed him a residency at the Forward AM Sessions. 2015 has brought the most prominent gigs including headlining the Beltek Festival in Maine, playing the main stage at Sunset Campout (the crown jewel of the Northern California house and techno scene), and making an appearing in Los Angeles at re:love. He is also one-half of the House duo Track Jacket Mafia, a selected 2015 headliner at California’s longest running house music campout called Slinky. He is resident DJ at the label’s monthly event “Studio 3AM” which takes place on the 4th Fridays of the month at staple San Francisco venue Underground SF. Late 2015/Early 2016 will see the launching of two more labels; Soul Proprietor and Creme Colour Chalet.
Ross Dubois aka RANDOM was born in 1978 in the San Francisco Bay Area which has been his home and source of inspiration for all of his life. In 1996 he first heard Psychedelic Trance and chose the path of being a psy-trance musician and DJ. Growing up in Northern California placed him amongst an incredibly diverse variety of music scenes. Ross’s goth punk roots collecting EBM and Industrial led him to Techno, and then Hard Trance with a bit of Jungle, Hardcore, Acid Techno, and finally his first GOA records. In 2001 after four years of Djing and throwing parties his mind got set on serious music production. Since then, Random has played at events big and small throughout North America, Mexico, Japan, and Europe; with many psy artists from around the world. Ross has been seen performing live and Dj sets at events such as Boom Festival 08′, Burning Man, the Ultra Music Festival, SF Love Fest, and countless more indoor and outdoor parties and festivals. ‘Implicate Order’ his debut album was released in 2006. Since then Random has released multiple albums, EPs, and compilations; in addition to multiple collaborations with fellow Psytrance musicans, remixes, as well as his duo project with SF’s Rob Watson, Random Robot. As one of the main forces behind many of today’s most successful psychedelic music labels including: Geomagnetic Rec., Ovnimoon Rec., and Goa Rec., Ross has a truly unique perspective built upon his experiences which he brings with him to the dance floor.
